# Commerce Integration

**Status:** Not yet available. This is a future focus area for Volume.

## Comprehensive Revenue Stream Tracking

Tours, ticket sales, and merchandise are where artists earn the most. Volume is integrating ticketing and merchandise capabilities directly into our platform, capturing this essential revenue data as it flows through our network.

### Planned Features

* **Ticketing integration** - Direct capture of ticket sales data
* **Merchandise tracking** - Monitor merch revenue alongside streaming
* **Venue data** - Tour performance metrics and attendance
* **Complete monetization view** - All revenue streams in one dashboard
* **Token redemption** - Allow fans to redeem engagement tokens for merchandise

### Why Commerce Matters

Combined with our publishing distribution network, commerce integration creates a **complete artist monetization layer**. Every revenue stream will be verified and aggregated on-chain. This data becomes part of the **Implied Value Index (IVI)**, giving artists a transparent view of their true market value across all income sources.

### Data Aggregation (Coming Soon)

When launched, commerce data will flow directly into your Volume dashboard alongside:

* Streaming royalties
* Publishing income (performance + mechanical)
* Fan engagement metrics
* Distribution analytics

### Future Marketplace Integration

Volume's marketplace will support commerce revenue streams when the integration launches:

* Ticketing revenue (coming later)
* Merchandise sales (coming later)

This unified approach will ensure that when you sell fractional rights on the Volume marketplace, buyers can see and benefit from your complete revenue picture, not just streaming income.

### Sync Licensing

Beyond distribution, Volume Publishing is exploring **sync licensing opportunities** to unlock additional revenue streams for artists. Day-one registered artists gain access to professional rights administration and sync licensing capabilities that were previously only available to established acts, positioning them to capture value from their intellectual property from the beginning of their journey.
